Like a monk, my father built his garden house himself. This was done on their own land, with their own hands and the goal to be used own. It is a lesson, albeit a small one, of a total work of art that modern architecture could make use of. A house which, without having wanted it, acquires the expression of a face. Perhaps that of its creator.
